A Python Lagrangian particle tracking framework written against FVCOM outputs, with more models to follow.

  • Advects particles in 3D with and without horizontal and vertical diffusivity
  • Includes a random walk model
  • Add Lagrangian Coherent Structure routines
    • e.g. the Finite Time Lyapunov Exponents (FTLE) and Finite Size Lyapunov Exponents (FSLE).
  • Add support for other structured and unstructured grid models e.g. NEMO.
